COVID-19 New York ER Doctor Commits Suicide

(New York, NY) — A Manhattan emergency room doctor, dealing with COVID-19 infected patients daily, and who herself had contracted the respiratory illness and recovered, is dead from suicide. Dr. Lorna Breen, medical director of New York-Presbyterian Allen Hospital’s emergency department ended her life in Charlottesville, Virginia. Police responded to a call on Sunday seeking medical help, and she was rushed to UVA Health System University Hospital, but died from self-inflicted injuries.
