Illinois Coronavirus Positive-Test-Rate Under 20 Percent

(Chicago, IL) — Despite Illinois’ daily rise in coronavirus cases, 80-percent of the people tested in the state continue to not be sick. The Illinois Department of Public Health yesterday said 50-thousand-355 people have tested positive for the virus. But there have been over 256-thousand tests. That leaves Illinois’ positive-test-rate at just under 20-percent. The state says most of those cases continue to be in and around Chicago.
