Some Indiana College Students Want Refunds
(Indianapolis, IN) — Purdue University is calling a lawsuit aimed at getting college students some of their money back a money grab. A university spokesman yesterday said it’s sad that a lawyer is trying to ‘profit from this unprecedented public health crisis.’ Some Purdue students are among those in a national lawsuit that seeks refunds for classes that were moved online because of the coronavirus. Indiana’s other universities say they’ve heard from students about refunds as well.
