According to a recent post on the “Haute Happenings” Facebook Page: The Department of Natural Resources have announced Indiana’s State Park Swimming Pools will NOT open for the 2020 Summer Season due to concerns over COVID-19. The Department announced it’s not the pools that are the problem, rather than limitations with pool decks which would make social distancing difficult.
Pools impacted include: Mounds, Prophetstown, Turkey Run, McCormick’s Creek, Spring Mill, Brown County, Versailles, Clifty Falls, O’Bannon Woods, Shakamak, Harmonie, and Cagles Mill Lake Pool.
