According to the Effingham County Sheriff’s Department, 34-year-old Daniel Hoyer, and 23-year-old Jordon Kollman were taken into custody following a disturbance at an Altamont business yesterday. A search of their vehicle uncovered two handguns hidden under the dashboard. Both were charged with unlawful use of a weapon and possession of stolen firearms, as well as being armed habitual criminals. Additionally, Kollman was charged with one count of defacing a weapon.
