State Changing Student Vaccination Requirements

(Peoria, IL) — The Illinois State Board of Education is changing its student vaccination requirements. The ISBE says families who choose not to return students’ health records can have their child participate in remote learning. Those students would be restricted to online instruction. Officials still recommend that families get their children the typically required vaccinations, but say they won’t be cited for violating school code.
