Trespasser Arrested On U Of I Property
(Urbana, IL) — A 21-year-old Rantoul man is facing charges after being found asleep in an office at the Roger Adams Laboratory. Officers say Chase Henson was found Monday morning in an office that wasn’t his. Henson allegedly broke into several labs overnight and damaged equipment, computers, and other items. He was arrested for obstruction of justice and trespassing on state-supported property. Police say he had been previously issued a non-trespassing notice for all U of I property and gave false information when being questioned.
