One Hurt In Champaign County Crash
(Champaign County, IL) — Illinois State Police say one person was hurt in a crash on I-72 in Champaign County. Troopers say smoke was covering the road when one car slowed down and was rear-ended before hitting a guardrail. That vehicle caught fire from the burning grass, and the other vehicle drove into the median. A 36-year-old woman in the burning car was taken to the hospital with non-life-threatening injuries.
