According to Illinois State Police, a fatal crash occurred on North Wyckles Road in Macon County earlier Wednesday afternoon. Preliminary details state that a 2007 Red Toyota Tacoma, driven by an 84 year-old from Decatur, was driving north on North Wyckles Road. The Toyota approached the stop intersection with I-121, where the driver failed to stop and collided against the trailer of a 2005 Grey International Truck Tractor Semi Trailer Combination driven by James Feaster, 67, of Chapel Hill, North Carolina. The woman driving the Toyota was pronounced dead on the scene, Feaster was uninjured. The Macon County Coroner will release the name of the deceased once the next of kin is notified. The crash is still under investigation with no additional details to report at this time.
