Residential leaf collection in Mattoon will begin November 16th and conclude December 18th.
Leaves must be in 30-gallon yard waste bags and be placed within ten feet of the curb of a public street by 7:00 a.m. to ensure pickup on your scheduled day. Monday pickup will be in the northwest zone, northeast on Tuesdays, southeast on Wednesdays, and southwest on Thursdays.
You’re also welcome to take leaves to the yard waste facility, which is open seven days a week during daylight hours.
