Coles County Health Department is saddened to announce the death of Two additional Coles County residents with COVID-19. We would like to extend our heartfelt condolences to the families and friends. We ask for respect and privacy as they mourn the loss of their loved ones in this very difficult time.
Coles County Health Department, (CCHD) is reporting additional laboratory confirmed COVID-19 cases. Our total confirmed COVID-19 laboratory case count for Coles County as of November 10, 2020, is Two-Thousand, Six-Hundred and Sixty-Three with Twenty-Two currently hospitalized, Two-Thousand and Twenty-Five recovered Fifty-Three
deceased, and Five Hundred and Sixty-Three recovering.
Coles County is continuing to see an increase in COVID-19 positive cases. Once you have tested for COVID-19 you are required stay home until you receive a call from the testing provider with your results. You will receive a call from Coles County Health Department when the laboratory COVID-19 positive test is received in the electronic IDPH reporting system. Coles County Health Department is calling COVID-19 positive cases as quickly as possible.
