Ten Arrested During Effingham Drug Bust
(Effingham, IL) — Four people are under indictment and six are facing charges after a drug bust in Effingham. Each member of the group was arrested during an operation carried out over the weekend by the Effingham Police Department, in cooperation with the Sheriff’s Department, Illinois State Police and other agencies. The investigation has been underway since 2019. The defendants face several drug related charges, including possession and conspiracy to deliver or distribute.
