Public Office Candidate Academy in Effingham

The Effingham County Chamber of Commerce and Effingham County Farm Bureau will co-host a candidate academy on January 28, 2021, at the Effingham Performance Center.  The academy is for current candidates for public office and for those interested in holding public office.  Speakers will cover the election process, open meeting act, freedom of information act, and what it takes to be an elected official.  To register, go to effinghamcountychamber.com and click on “events.”
