The Moultrie County Sheriff’s Department is investigating a string of thefts. According to Sheriff Chris Sims, items were taken from several vehicles in the Bethany, Lovington and Dalton City areas. Additionally, two vehicles were stolen. One has been recovered. The other is a dark grey 2017 Ford F-150 XLT crew cab with black rims, black fender flares, and a tool box.
