Three officers were injured when an alleged domestic dispute turned into an altercation with Effingham Police. When officers responded to the call at Easy Breeze Mobile Home Park, 26-year-old Jayson Rentfro attempted to physically move through the officers on a deck outside the home. When they attempted to handcuff him, Rentfro allegedly punched the officers. Rentfro is charged with four counts of aggravated battery to a police officer with injuries, resisting a peace officer with injuries, unlawful restraint, and domestic battery.
