A residential break-in led to the arrest of two people in rural Shelby County. When deputies arrived, they saw the suspects – Dustin Willoughby, of Sullivan, and Jennifer Jones, of Pana – had barricaded themselves inside the home. When told to leave the home, Willoughby threatened to use a gun if deputies tried to come inside. The ILEAS Response Team was called in and they used tear gas to force the suspects outside. Each is charged with burglary, criminal trespass to property, and threatening a public official.
