One person suffered serious injuries in a crash in Lawrence County last night, Sunday March 21, 2021. According to the Illinois State Police, an ATV driven 24-year-old Richard Baxley, of Saint Francisville, crossed the center line in attempt to turn and struck an SUV driven by 18-year-old Kyle Boughan, of Sumner, head-on. Baxley was airlifted to the hospital with life-threatening injuries. He was ticketed for driving while license suspended, improper lane usage and operating a non-highway vehicle on a roadway.
