Pritzker Staff Member Tests Positive For COVID-19

(Springfield, IL) — A staff member in Governor J.B. Pritzker’s administration is positive for COVID-19. Pritzker’s press secretary said in an email last night that the employee tested positive during a routine screening yesterday. Officials say the staff member didn’t have close contact with the governor recently. All staff members who were in close contact with the employee who tested positive are now in quarantine. The staff member who tested positive had already received the first dose of the COVID-19 vaccine.
