Registration opens this Saturday, May 15, 2021, for the free summer reading challenge at the Effingham Public Library. It’s open to all area children and adults. A library card is not required. The challenge allows readers to earn rewards, including free books and a pool party. If you read for all 42 days, you’ll be honored at the Super Summer Reader Medal Ceremony.
