One person was seriously injured in a hit-and-run crash on Route 51 in Fayette County yesterday. According to the Illinois State Police, a pickup driven by Randal Howell, of Ramsey, crossed the center line and struck a vehicle driven by Ronald Seals, of Centralia. Howell fled the scene, but was later taken into custody for this and other unrelated charges stemming from incidents prior to the crash.
