IL Gas Prices Higher Than National Average

(Springfield, IL) — Gas prices are up in Illinois. According to Triple-A, the average price for a gallon a gas is three-28 in the state. That’s above the national average of three-oh-five a gallon. The highest prices for gas in the state are in Chicago. High gas prices can also be found in the Marion-Carbondale area, which ranks the eighth highest in the state.
