Thursday, July 1, 2021, Ed Dowd, Executive Director of the Mattoon Chamber of Commerce was a guest on 101.3 WMCI. Here is a brief description of what he covered during the interview:
- The Chamber Golf Classic was postponed after heavy rains forced us to move our event to Friday August 6th. This gives more people the opportunity to play in our fun filled event. It also provides the opportunity for more people to have a chance to win the $3,000 grand prize in our raffle contest. Tickets are still available at only $10 each.
- Check out the awesome nearly completed downtown Mattoon mural across from the train depot tomorrow while you listen to the lunch and music series at Heritage Park. It is supposed to be a beautiful day!
