It’s going to be a bit more expensive to slide down the Giant Slide or eat a corn dog at the State Fair this summer. The Department of Agriculture yesterday announced tickets for the annual fair in Springfield will be 10-dollars a piece this summer. Kids under 12 and veterans will still get in free and anyone over 60 will pay three-dollars. State fair managers say they need to raise prices to keep the fair viable.
