The contract between the Altamont Unit 10 Board of Education and the district’s support staff was officially approved on a vote of 19-2 during last night’s special meeting. The contract is for three years, retroactive to last school year. The terms of the agreement include a total new money increase of 5.6% over the duration of the contact. This includes an hourly wage increase and insurance.
