The Montrose Sesquicentennial celebration is this weekend.
They’ll start things off with cruise night, Friday from 5:00 to 8:00. The inflatable playground will be open at the same time; goldfish races will be at 7:00; and Captain Rat and the Blind Rivets will perform from 8:00 to 11:00. Saturday’s events include a tractor pull, petting zoo, frog and turtle races, and carnival games. On Sunday, it’s a car and tractor show, old time games, pedal pull, golf ball drop (the one that lands closest to the target wins $5,000), and they’ll cap off the weekend with fireworks.
