Bigger Than a Book Sale Fundraising Event at the Charleston Carnegie Public Library

For Immediate Release – August 6, 2021

We would like to invite the community to our Bigger Than a Book Sale fundraising event on Friday, August 13^th from 10:00a.m. to 6:00p.m. and Saturday, August 14^th from 10:00a.m. to 2:00p.m.

The Bigger Than a Book Sale will feature books, audiobooks, DVDs, magazines, children’s books, & more with prices starting at 10¢!

Monetary donations are welcome.

All proceeds from this fundraiser will support the Charleston Carnegie Public Library and its mission to connect our community through information, technology, education, and experiences. Thank you for your support!

Parking at 5th & Van Buren

As part of the Book Sale we will also be featuring our Book Tree Fundraiser running Friday, August 13th through Friday, August 20^th. Community members can purchase a “book” for our fundraising tree! Each book costs $10.00 & enters you for a chance to win one of our fantastic prizes! Prizes will be drawn and winners notified on Monday, August 23rd!

All funds raised from the Book Tree will go toward helping our collection GROW!
