Son Of Illinois DC Joining Team

The son of Illinois defensive coordinator Hardy Nickerson is joining the team.  Hardy Nickerson, Junior announced he will be transferring to the U of I from California.  He is set to graduate from Cal and will be pursuing postgraduate work at Illinois.  Since Nickerson is a graduate student, he is allowed to play for the Illini right away.
