Joint Hearing Held In Peoria For Input On Redistricting
(Peoria, IL) — A joint hearing of both the state Senate and House Redistricting committees is allowing the public to provide input on changing legislative boundaries. The hearing was held Saturday morning in Peoria. Area leaders and community members were able to offer input into the process that could change how people in the state are represented. Illinois House and Senate leaders will meet for a special session tomorrow to re-evaluate the maps.
