Rivian Completes First Customer Truck
(Normal, IL) — The first electric truck from Rivian is now off the production line. The electric pickup rolled off the line at the company’s Normal plant yesterday. CEO RJ Scaringe tweeted the news saying the achievement comes after months of pre-production. The Normal assembly line used to be a Mitsubishi plant. It is part of the California-based company’s other three U.S. sites along with other facilities in the UK and Canada.
