COVID-19 Factor In Teen’s Death
(Springfield, IL) — Taylorville health officials say they believe COVID-19 was a contributing factor in a teen’s death. The Taylorville Community Unit School District announced Wednesday that 17-year-old Alexia Garrison had died the day before. Taylorville’s Superintendent says she collapsed in her home. Preliminary autopsy results show that Garrison died of natural causes with COVID-19 as a contributing factor.
