I 57 Northbound Ramp at Tuscola (Exit 212) Closed

Illinois State Police Statement:  Tuesday, September 21, at 12:40pm:

An oily substance is covering the northbound I-57 ramp to Tuscola (exit 212).  Combined with rain the ramp is extremely slick and has contributed to multiple minor crashes.  Until the substance can be mitigated by IDOT the ramp will remain closed to insure the safety of the motoring public.
