3-Million Infant Loungers Recalled After Reports Of Deaths
(Washington, DC) — The Consumer Product Safety Commission is announcing a recall of more than three-million infant loungers after reports that eight babies died in them. The popular baby product maker Boppy is recalling three lounger models after reports that infants were placed on their back, side, or stomach on the lounger and suffocated. The federal agency says the children were found on their side or stomach. The commission is urging parents to “immediately stop” using the recalled loungers.
