The junior high state softball tournaments get underway today. In 3A, Charleston goes for win number-20 as they play Frankfort Hickory Creek at 12:30. In Class 1A, Paris Crestwood will face Stronghurst West Central at 3:30. In 2A, a battle between two 18-1 teams as Shelbyville takes on Gillespie at 4:00.
Sectional champs will be crowned tomorrow in junior high baseball. In class 1A, it’s an Effingham showdown as St. Anthony battles Sacred Heart in Louisville. In 2A, T-town hosts Lawrenceville Parkview. In 3A, Pana faces undefeated Tolono Unity at Clinton. All games will start at 11:00 a.m.
