Illinois State Police District 10 Conduct 2nd Annual Operation X-Out
Pesotum, IL – The Illinois State Police (ISP) announces the conclusion of the 2nd Annual Operation X-Out which began on Friday, November 5th at 12:00 a.m., and concluded at 11:59 p.m., on Friday, November 5th.
District 10 Personnel participated in saturation details throughout several counties of District 10 that includes: Shelby, Moultrie, Piatt, Macon, Champaign, Douglas, Coles, Edgar, and Vermilion Counties.

In addition to the above listed activity, District 10 Troopers also made 13 criminal arrests and seized 3 illegally possessed firearms, one of which had the serial number defaced.
“The intent of Operation X-Out was to aggressively enforce traffic laws through high visibility patrols, to increase traffic safety and traffic law awareness, while remaining charitable to the inadvertent violator,” stated Acting Operations Lt Mark Holley. District 10 will continue to employ strategies to increase public safety on our roadways, to include enforcement and education.
The public is reminded that all persons are presumed innocent until proven guilty in a court of law.
