Fujiyama Restaurant Coming to Mattoon

The former Cody’s Roadhouse Restaurant location in Mattoon won’t stay vacant for very long. A Fujiyama Japanese Steakhouse is slated to open in the location once the building has been renovated. The new owner hopes to open the location by late 2016 or early 2017. The new location will be like the Fujiyama in Effingham, where diners can sit around the hibachi grills or in the dining room. The chefs who work the hibachi grills put on a show of cooking the food.
