Strasburg American Legion Auxiliary #289 Sponsors Candy Buy-Back

On November 6^th, Strasburg Liberty Unit #289 of the American Legion Auxiliary held their 3rd Annual “Candy Buy-Back.”  Their mission to buy-back the excess Halloween candy from the local trick or treaters was a successful one, netting105 pounds of candy.  The candy was sent to servicemen in South Korea, Japan and Syria.  The members thank the community for their wonderful support, and especially the children who were willing to give up some of their candy.
