Several recreation areas around Lake Shelbyville will be closed Thursday through Sunday, Novmeber 18 – 21, for the Deer Hunt for People with Disabilities. Lone Point and Lithia Springs Campgrounds and all of Sullivan Beach, Wilborn Creek, Coon Creek and Opossum Creek recreation areas will be closed to automobile and pedestrian traffic from 2:00 p.m. Thursday until 7:00 p.m. Sunday. The temporary closing also includes boat ramps within Wilborn Creek, Coon Creek and Opossum Creek recreation areas.
