Missing Two-Year-Old Girl Pulled From River In Bartholomew County

(Bartholomew County, IN) — A missing six-year-old girl has been found dead. The body of Emma Sweet was pulled from the White River in Bartholomew County on Sunday afternoon after she and her father Jeremy were reported missing on Thanksgiving. Jeremy was taken to the hospital Saturday, telling police his truck went into the river. He is in critical condition and has been placed on a 72-hour hold with no bond while authorities investigate.
