A Charleston man died from injuries sustained in a crash in Shelby County yesterday. According to the Illinois State Police, 30-year-old Robert Scribner was southbound on 1000 East near 1800 North when he lost control of his car and struck a concrete bridge support. He was taken to a nearby hospital where he succumbed to his injuries.
