Severe weather played a factor in an accident on I-70 near Altamont last night. Illinois State Police say a Freightliner was traveling westbound at milepost 82 when wind turned the truck and trailer over onto the driver’s side and into the left lane of traffic. Fortunately, the driver and his passenger were not injured.
