Two women and a boy were injured in a crash in Marion County last night. According to the Illinois State Police, a vehicle driven by 42-year-old Shannon Lewis of Flora crossed the center line on Route 50 for unknown reasons and struck a pickup driven by 54-year-old Jesse Wooden of Alma head-on. A two-year-old boy in Wooden’s vehicle suffered non-life-threatening injuries, while a 55-year-old passenger Tammy Wallace of Kinmundy and Lewis were air-lifted with serious injuries. Wooden refused medical attention. Lewis was cited for improper lane usage, operating an uninsured motor vehicle and failure to wear a seatbelt.
