COVID Cases Continue To Drop In Illinois

(Springfield, IL) — COVID-19 cases continue to drop in Illinois. State health officials reported just over 14-thousand new coronavirus infections yesterday. That number lowered the seven-day average case positivity rate to its lowest level since the holidays. State hospitals reported less than five-thousand beds were occupied with infected patients for the first time since December 26th.
