Senate Panel Guts School Curriculum Legislation
(Indianapolis, IN) — Senators at the Indiana Capitol have gutted another proposal from the Indiana House that is unpopular with some people. Yesterday, a Senate panel removed large pieces of the proposed law that would require schools to share their curriculum, and involve parents in the classroom more. Teachers and their unions turned-out in droves to oppose the legislation yesterday. This is the second proposal this week that senators have gutted.
