According to Illinois State Police, traffic is being diverted off of I-57 southbound onto Route 136 at Milepost 250. This is due to traffic crashes near southbound milepost 243. Please seek an alternate route, use caution and drive slow. Illinois State Police have stated to not travel unless it’s an emergency.
