ISP: A semi lost air pressure on the diversion route blocking the ramp so we are re-opening I-57 South at MP 250 however the right lane will be blocked at MP 243 for recovery efforts. Please slow down and move over when approaching. Expect significant backups.

ISP: Troopers are diverting southbound traffic on I-57 at Rantoul (Exit 250) to relieve the congestion and to allow for removal operations to stop people from stopping and staring in the roadway. Please seek an alternate route as delays will still occur. Please pay attention to emergency responders.

ISP: Traffic is severely backed up due to onlookers for all the crashed semis that are off the roadway at MP 243. Please stop slowing unnecessarily for pictures and video. Please use an alternate route or expect to be delayed significantly

ISP: S/B lanes are open again south of I-57 SB MP 256. The right lane at that location is still obstructed.

ISP: The right lane of I-57 South at Milepost 256 (north of Rantoul) is closed due to multiple crashes. Also the right lane is completely ice covered in this area. Please use caution while approaching first responders/emergency workers.
