According to a Mattoon Police Department Press Release, Mattoon police arrested Jeffrey A. Mingus, age 37 of Mattoon, on Friday April 29th at 6:22 p.m. The arrest occurred in the 900 block of Charleston Ave. Mingus was charged with Domestic Battery. The charge alleges that he battered a female. Mingus was taken to the Coles County jail.
