Champaign Man Charged In Shooting That Wounded 10yo Boy

(Champaign, IL) — A Champaign man is charged in a shooting that seriously wounded a 10-year-old boy in 2019. Devlon Miles faces multiple charges in the incident, including attempted murder. Police say he fired into a house on Williamsburg Drive in December 2019. The gunfire hit the boy, who wasn’t the intended target. The child has made a full recovery. Miles has been in custody since last May in a separate shooting case.
