Effingham Man Dies in Hit-and-Run

An Effingham man was killed in a hit-and-run accident in St. Louis Friday night.  Nicholas Barnes was struck by a car in Central West End just before 10:30pm.  The driver of the first vehicle that hit Barnes fled the scene, however, the driver of the second car gave police a description of the vehicle that initially struck Barnes, and that suspect is still being sought.
