Student With Gun Leads To Lockdown At Springfield School

(Springfield, IL) — A student with a gun is being blamed for a Springfield school going on lockdown. Officials say a gun fell out of the student’s bag yesterday at Southeast High School. Authorities responded and quickly retrieved the firearm and the student was taken into custody. No more weapons were found after the school was searched.
