Longtime Bears Strength Coach Clyde Emrich Honored By NFL

(Chicago, IL) — The NFL is honoring legendary Bears strength coach Clyde Emrich. Emrich passed away in November at the age of 90. He was the recipient of the NFL Strength and Conditioning Coaches Lifetime Achievement Award last night at the NFL Combine. In addition, the honor was renamed the Clyde Emrich Lifetime Achievement Award. The man known as “The Legend” worked for the Bears for 50 years.
